Crawl Space Repair Company in Berea, Kentucky

This homeowner gave us a call because they were concerned with their wooden framing in their crawl space. The homeowner informed us that their crawl space was not that old, and they were pretty upset at the condition it was in. We informed them that they called us at the right time, because had they waited longer, the wood may have grown past the point of safe. We then told them more about our encapsulation process, and how it could save them lots of money in the long run by being able to save the wooden framing. We also informed them of one spot where the wooden frame could use a little extra support with one of our SmartJack posts. By installing our CleanSpace vapor barrier over some drainage matting, our SmartJack post, our SilverGlo foam insulation panels, our waterproofing system connected to a SmartSump sump pump, and a SaniDry Sedona dehumidification system, we were able to guarantee they won't have to worry about the health of their wooden framing any longer.

Concrete Repair Contractor in Berea, Kentucky

For this school in Berea, KY, we leveled out the concrete slabs surrounding the front entrance. We receive many calls for public areas with high walking-traffic volume because these places can be held liable if someone trips and hurts themselves. We made sure to level out all the tripping hazards for this school with our PolyLevel foam jacking. After we leveled everything out, the administrators were relieved that they spent part of their spending budget wisely with The Basement Doctor. Not only are the slabs even now, but they will still that way for a long, long time.

Sidewalk Resurfacing for Public Library in Berea, Kentucky

This public library in Berea, KY, had a sidewalk with a tripping hazard. This sidewalk slab had sunken about 2 inches down and away from the adjacent patio slab, a pretty big liability for a public library with lots of foot traffic. We first lifted the slab closest to the patio slab to close out the gap between the two, and then we leveled out the rest of the sidewalk slabs so that every slab is level with one another. After leveling, we then sealed the joints with our NexusPro joint sealant. Our PolyLevel only takes ten minutes to cure, so the public got right back to being able to use this access door.

Sump Pump Replacement in Paris, Kentucky

This basement had an existing waterproofing system that eventually failed. We decided to replace their outdated system with our state-of-the-art interior perimeter system. The system we designed for this basement included our WaterGuard subfloor drainage system, our SuperSump sump pump system, and our BrightWall wall paneling system. The WaterGuard was installed all around the entire perimeter of the basement, ensuring all possible entrances for water leaks are directed to the sump pump. Our SuperSump is able to discharge 2,280 gallons of water per hour. Our BrightWall panels cover all the stained walls and help channel leaks from the walls down into the subfloor drains. The result of this project is a clean, dry, beautiful basement.

Sump Pump Installation in Winchester, Kentucky

We installed a SuperSump Plus in this Winchester, KY, home to ensure water stays away from their foundation. The black battery seen next to the sump pump will turn on in case power outage ensues.
