We went out to this residence in Frenchburg, KY, in order to repair the outside concrete that had settled and cracked. For all the slabs that had sunken into the ground, we jacked them back up with our PolyLevel expansive foam. Once everything was leveled back out, we then sealed all the cracks and gaps in the concrete with our NexusPro sealant. We were able to restore the concrete and effectively increase its expected lifetime, saving the homeowners thousands in having it replaced.
This home in Frenchburg, KY, was experiencing saggy floors above the crawl space. This was because the framing in their crawl space had started to rot from moisture damage. The concrete columns in the crawl space had settled as well, further causing the framing to warp. We replaced the main beam and sistered a large majority of the floor joists in the crawl space with new wood to ensure structural integrity. We then stabilized the main beam with our SmartJack crawl space posts to jack the framing back up to where it was before the sagging started. This process helped straightened out the floors above. This project displays what can happen to the framing in a crawl space if moisture is not contained.
In Pineville, a homeowner faced unpleasant musty smells due to excessive moisture in their crawl space. Notice in the before photo the visible signs of moisture seepage contributing to mold, mildew, and air quality issues. In the after photo, our expert team used the CleanSpace crawl space encapsulation system and SilverGlo wall insulation to effectively lock out moisture. CleanSpace brings unparalleled vapor protection with its sturdy, UV-resistant liner. Combined with the efficient R-11 insulating SilverGlo material, it ensures a dry, odor-free crawl space, optimizing comfort and air quality in the home. Not pictured in this photo was the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier we also installed to ensure the space stays conditioned.
This basement was leaking water when it rained, and the homeowners wanted it to stop. They didn't like having to pull out their industrial fans and lifting up their carpet every time it rained so they called us to get it waterproofed.
This wet basement in Salt Lick, KY, had a leaky block foundation that needed a proper waterproofing system. The newer home was built with exterior french drains, but those didn't last long underneath the soil. Instead of digging around their homes foundation again to replace their exterior system, the homeowners wanted our full-proof system that would last way longer than another exterior system, (and would be less of a headache to install). The pinnacle of this full-proof system is our TripleSafe sump pump, as seen in the "after" picture. This sump pump comes with three different pumps inside its airtight liner, including a pump that is backed by a battery backup system, (in case of power outage). With our full interior system now in place, the homeowners can get back to reinstalling some new carpet - and they won't have to worry about if it will get ruined again.
