If you are looking for a home renovation projection to have done, a crawl space encapsulation may be the perfect choice for you. If your current crawl space has high humidity, sagging floors, dirt and pests, or groundwater leaks, an encapsulation may be the best investment you could make for your home. In terms of getting your money back through prevented structural issues, lower energy bills, and better air quality in the home, you can't make a better investment for your home.
This wet crawl space was falling apart before we encapsulated it with all of our products in Georgetown, Kentucky. After we sealed the entire crawl space by surrounding it with our CleanSpace vapor barrier, the homeowners were very pleased with the result. Not only does the crawl space look great, but it is now functionally great and will protect this homes foundation.
This vented crawl space was allowing wet air to enter in the Spring and Summer, and it was allowing for cold air to enter in the Winter and Fall. The wet air had destroyed the fiberglass insulation, damaged the wood, and caused musty smells. The cold air caused cold floors and higher energy bills in the winter. By encapsulating the crawl space with our CleanSpace moisture barrier, our SmartSump sump pump, and our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, we were able to completely change the look, feel, and smell of the crawl space.
This crawlspace was dirty and wasting a lot of energy on heat before we repaired it. After we encapsulated and insulated it by using CleanSpace walls, SilverGlo insulation panels, a SaniDry dehumidifier, and spray foam insulation, the crawlspace was clean and efficient at keeping the house warm during the colder months.
This crawl space in Nicholasville, KY, was damp, uninsulated, and contributing to uncomfortable indoor air conditions. The exposed soil and concrete walls left the home vulnerable to moisture, mold, and energy loss.
We installed our 20 mil CleanSpace vapor barrier across the floor and walls, paired with SilverGlo insulation panels to help seal and condition the space. The result: a clean, dry, insulated crawl space that now works for the home—not against it.
