Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

We waterproofed this basement in Winchester, Kentucky, by using our patented WaterGuard subfloor drains. The basement was attached to the garage and sat a couple feet deeper than the garage, so it received all the floods. We wrapped the basement with our interior perimeter drains and directed them to a sump pump (unpictured) to help manage water intrusions. We also installed a grated trench drain at the base of the garage door to help capture any water that may run in from the garage floor. The result is a dry basement where the homeowner won't have to worry about it flooding any longer.

This basement had some mold stains and wet spots that showed up every time it rained. In order to stop the moisture problem, we installed a full perimeter interior waterproofing system, as well as a full CleanSpace moisture barrier installation. 

This homeowner was dealing with a damp, musty basement and growing concerns about cracks forming along their foundation walls. Water was seeping in around the edges of the basement floor during heavy rains, and the walls had visible signs of cracking and bowing. The combination of moisture and structural stress was only getting worse with time. Our team installed a complete basement repair system to protect the home for the long term. We placed WaterGuard drainage along the perimeter to collect incoming water and direct it safely to a SuperSump pump, keeping the basement dry. To address the foundation wall cracks and prevent further bowing, we reinforced the walls with CarbonArmor® straps, a durable, low-profile solution that stabilizes the walls without major excavation. The basement is now dry, stable, and protected — giving the homeowner peace of mind no matter the weather.

When installing a full interior perimeter waterproofing system, it's important to have a trench drain near doors leading outside. Stairs outside these doors are prone to ushering water towards your basement floor, and so its important to capture this water with a trench drain before it reaches the basement. This trench drain is connected to WaterGuard drains, which go beneath the floor and up against the basement walls. The drainage system as a whole then leads all the water to a SuperSump sump pump.

When we waterproofed this basement in Williamsburg, KY, the homeowner wanted us to also install our Brightwall panels to cover up their stained block walls. All of our wall products have a vapor barrier backing, and prevent mold growth. This particular wall system, called BrightWall, is our rigid paneling system, and will help channel wall leaks down into the subfloor drains. These wall panels are also extremely sleek and durable.
