This porch and adjacent sidewalk were settling unevenly into the ground, creating voids and gaps. We lifted the sidewalk and the porch with our expansive foam jacking method, effectively leveling all of the slabs out. The result is a stable porch and an even sidewalk.
This homeowner wanted an egress window installed in their finished basement so that they could claim a bedroom on their homes appraisal. We started by digging a trench and cutting the concrete to make room for the 35x54 inch window and the RockWell window well. The well mimics a natural stone, and is made of a high-strength fiberglass composite. The well contains stair steps, allowing for easy access. The window well cover is translucent and allows for natural sunlight to fill the basement. We also made sure to caulk all the seams correctly. The homeowner was very happy with the outcome.
This basement had one side that was leaking water due to poor downgrading slope near their foundation. Rather than paying a lot of money, time, and space to moving the soil around the foundation, we decided to just waterproof one side of the basement, a rather simple process. With WaterGuard, a TripleSafe, and a discharge line, this home was now waterproof.
This home had some large cracks in its basement, allowing water to seep in. We installed FlexiSpan for the cracks, effectively stopping water from coming by the cracks. However, water was also coming up through the floor. To fix this, we installed WaterGuard and a Super Sump. Lastly, we installed BrightWall paneling, giving the basement a nice finished look. The owner can now finish the basement however they like, without having to worry about water damage.
This homeowner was tired of having to walk around their house with a coat on during the winter. They also had a bit of a moisture problem in the basement from water leakage. Moisture in a home can make heating and cooling the air much more difficult, so we suggested to the homeowner two things; We install our waterproofing system in the problematic area, and we install the best insulation panels we have. These insulation panels are called Basement to Beautiful, and they are perfect for not just insulating your basement, but for also preparing your basement for finished walls. If you want to learn why these panels are the best for pre-finishing your basement, click here.
