This Finchville, KY, homeowner wanted their basement waterproofed due to mold growth and foundational concerns. Our CleanSpace wall system not only transformed the appearance of the basement but also directed any leaking water into the waterproofing system. In some cases, like this one, relieving pressure on the foundation walls by drilling small holes and gaps for water to flow through can prevent the walls from shifting further.
This porch and adjacent sidewalk were settling unevenly into the ground, creating voids and gaps. We lifted the sidewalk and the porch with our expansive foam jacking method, effectively leveling all of the slabs out. The result is a stable porch and an even sidewalk.
This basement in Springfield, KY, was leaking nearly every time it rained. We waterproofed the basement by wrapping our WaterGuard subfloor drains around the interior perimeter of the basement, and installing our TripleSafe sump pump. Our system is minimally invasive compared to other exterior solutions, as our system doesn't require digging around a homes foundation on the outside. Instead, our WaterGuard drains sit above the footing of the home from the inside. This way our system isn't susceptible to clogging from soil. The drains were pitched down towards the lowest graded part of the basement floor, right where we installed our TripleSafe sump pump. Our TripleSafe is our most secure system, as it comes with three pumps including a battery backed pump. The homeowner was happy they don't have to worry about flooding anymore afterwards.
This homeowner wanted an egress window installed in their finished basement so that they could claim a bedroom on their homes appraisal. We started by digging a trench and cutting the concrete to make room for the 35x54 inch window and the RockWell window well. The well mimics a natural stone, and is made of a high-strength fiberglass composite. The well contains stair steps, allowing for easy access. The window well cover is translucent and allows for natural sunlight to fill the basement. We also made sure to caulk all the seams correctly. The homeowner was very happy with the outcome.
This basement in Libery, KY, had someone sleeping in it regularly, so the homeowners wanted to install an egress window for safety. After digging down and cutting the wall to make room for the well, we then installed a 35" x 54" crank out window. We then got around to installing a RockWell window well, that mimics natural stone and has built in steps for easy access. All that was left to do was tear the film off of the retractable lid. The homeowner now has a giant, beautiful new window that will allow for sunlight and a safe exit strategy.
