Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

When we waterproofed this basement in Irvine, Kentucky, we installed our most secure sump pump system, the TripleSafe, in the lowest graded part of the basement. This sump will take all the water that the WaterGuard subfloor drains channel to it, and safely discharge it away from the foundation of the home. The TripleSafe comes with three different pumps, including a battery backed one in case the power goes out. Like all of our sumps, it comes with an airtight lid, an alarm system, and an airtight floor drain.

This crawl space was having trouble with moisture control. We fixed this problem by wrapping the crawl space in our CleanSpace lining, which is able to seal out moisture due to its inorganic composition. We also installed a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which is built for keeping large spaces completely dry. We also added some rim joist insulation and some vent covers. Moisture won't be a problem any longer for this crawl space. 

After we encapsulated the crawl space, the homeowners finally had a reason to use it. They wanted to store some things down there, so they wanted a new access well that would make climbing in and out of the crawl space easier. We installed our Turtl door, which comes with a locking capability, perfect for anyone who wishes to store valuables in their crawl space. The Turtl is also super strong, weather resistant, and looks great.

Our waterproofing systems come with a wide arrange of different wall paneling options. The two seen here are two of our more popular options. The first one is called BrightWall, and is the one that runs from the bottom to the top. The second is called CleanSpace, and is the one that covers the awkward concrete pier. They both are made of inorganic materials that won't allow for mold growth, and they both help drain water coming from the walls down to the WaterGuard sub floor drains.
