This foundation settlement posed a risk to the structural integrity of the entire building. At The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky, we addressed the problem expertly and efficiently by installing our Helical Pier System. These engineered steel piers securely anchor into stable soil, stopping further settlement. We were also able to lift the foundation back towards its original position by using hydraulics, effectively closing the gap between the siding of the home and the foundation. This homeowner in Lexington, KY, just recently purchased their new home, and they wanted to be able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather without having to look at their wonky patio slabs. They gave us a call to repair it with our PolyLevel foam method, which took just under a couple hours to complete. After our crew leveled out the slabs by injecting them with PolyLevel foam, they then sealed all the joints with our NexusPro sealant. We replaced this customers sump pump in Lexington, KY, to improve their foundations waterproofing efficiency. You may also notice that we installed our CleanSpace vapor barrier across the block wall to help control moisture seepage coming in from the leaky foundation. Lastly, the old waterproofing system was hooked up to exterior drains, which failed overtime from sitting in the "mud-zone." We replaced the drainage system with our patented interior system, which includes our WaterGuard subfloor drains across the perimeter of the basement. Our WaterGuard drains sit above the "mud-zone" on top of the footing of the home. The homeowner was relieved to know their waterproofing system just received a huge upgrade.

The side of this pool in Lexington, Kentucky had some tripping hazards form overtime. We fixed the gaps in the uneven slabs by carefully injecting our PolyLevel foam underneath all the sunken slabs to level the area out. Our PolyLevel foam is minimally invasive, and only requires us to drill pea-sized holes in the slabs. These holes are then patched with a similar concrete color. The homeowner was happy there was such an easy fix to repair their poolside concrete.
