Crawl Space Repair Contractor in East Bernstadt, Kentucky

This crawl space in East Bernstadt, KY, was holding way too much moisture. Dirt floored crawl spaces allow immense amounts of moisture to rise up from the ground. It also didn't help that this crawl space had ground water leaking issues where pools of water could build up in the floor. To repair this crawl space, we started by installing a waterproofing system consisting of underground perforated drains backfilled with gravel connected to a sump pump. By waterproofing, we were then able to encapsulate the crawl space with an entire layer of our vapor barrier up and down the walls. We also threw in an energy efficient dehumidifier and insulation panels to help keep the crawl space dry and insulated. The result was a happy customer who is happy with their newly renovated dream home!
