Concrete Porch Repair in Richmond, Kentucky

We repaired this concrete porch in Richmond, KY, by lifting it and stabilizing it with two different combined solutions. The porch slab was pretty thick, and the footing was pretty deep, so we needed to send our piering crew out to ensure we could lift the porch back up with our helical piers. We then sent out our PolyLevel crew to fill the voids the piers left underneath the slab with our foam solution. You may notice our PolyLevel crew was also able to level out the stairs leading up to the front porch. They also sealed the crack in the sidewalk and the joint between the brick siding and the porch slab using our NexusPro sealant. The easiest way to notice how much we lifted the porch by is to look at the gap between the two concrete steps just beneath the front door in both the before and after picture. The homeowner was very happy with the outcome, and can get back to relaxing on the front porch with their cat.

Basement Waterproofing in Berea, KY

This home was leaking water into the basement, which was frustrating for the owner. We were able to help by installing CleanSpace, WaterGuard and a TripleSafe sump pump. This interior perimeter waterproofing system will keep this basement dry and clean for a long, long time.

Preventing Ground Water Leaks in a Crawl Space in Berea, Kentucky

Crawl Spaces are susceptible to water leaks just like basements, and it's important to prevent them. We dug trenches around this crawl space's perimeter and installed perforated pipes in the trenches. We then backfilled the trenches with gravel, which will further help drain the water leaks. We then hooked the drains up to a SmartSump sump pump, which is a perfect size for this crawl space. No longer are there pools of water sitting in this crawl space!

Basement Wall Repair & Waterproofing in Winchester, Kentucky

This basement in Winchester, KY, was under significant hydrostatic pressure, which caused the foundation walls to bow inward and allowed water to seep in. To correct the problem, our team installed a full interior waterproofing system along with PowerBraces to stabilize the walls. By waterproofing the basement, we helped relieve water pressure behind the walls, and with the bracing, we ensured the wall won't ever move again laterally. The waterproofing system included WaterGuard perimeter drains installed beneath the basement floor and connected to a SuperSump pump for reliable water removal. To finish the project, we installed BrightWall panels that give the basement a clean, bright look while directing any wall moisture straight into the drainage system.

Bowing Wall Repair and Basement Waterproofing in Millersburg, Kentucky

This below grade garage was receiving a lot of hydro-static pressure around certain walls. When this happens, the walls tend to bow in and cracks begin to form from the large amount of water that is sitting around the foundation. We first relieved the pressure by drilling weeping holes into the trenches where the waterproofing system will go. WaterGuard was then placed into the trenches, connected to a TripleSafe sump pump and a discharge line. We then placed CleanSpace walls and PowerBraces to hold the bowing walls up. The CleanSpace walls function as a funnel for moisture seeping through the walls and the CleanSpace also looks cosmetically pleasing as well.
