Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Repair in Winchester, Kentucky

This crawl space in Winchester, KY, was very humid before we encapsulated it. We started by insulating the walls with our SilverGlo panels and laying down our drainage matting on top of the gravel floor. We then wrapped the entire space with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal the space entirely from the outside. Lastly, we installed a dehumidifier to keep the air in the space dry and controlled. This photo shows the first steps we took to start the encapsulation. We laid down our dimpled drainage matting all over the floor to protect the vapor barrier we installed over the top of it later in the process. This photo also shows our SilverGlo insulation panels installed along the walls.

This shows the final transformation after we wrapped the walls and the floor with our CleanSpace vapor barrier. Our CleanSpace vapor barrier is made of a 20 mil - antimicrobial material to keep it fresh and strong.
