Basement Waterproofing in Mount Sterling, KY
This photo was taken after we trenched around the perimeter of the basement to make room for our subfloor drains. We then drilled weeping holes on the lowest block row to invite built up water into the system. This area is optimal for basement drainage, as there is no soil to be found, which helps prevent clogging. This trench is also less invasive to dig compared to exterior systems, which requires digging around the outside of a home, which tears up the yard.
Basement Waterproofing System in Mount Sterling, KY
This picture was taken after we fitted the trenches with our WaterGuard drainage system. We pitched the drains by using gravel, which acts as an additional filter for any debris that could potentially clog the system. Our WaterGuard drains have a small flange that runs right up against the walls to capture any moisture that may drip down the walls.
