This sump pump was fitted in the lowest graded part of the basement so that we could pitch our drains down towards it. Gravity is our friend.
Exposed French Drain in Flemingsburg, KY
This picture was taken after we fitted the trench with our drains, graded the drains towards the sump pump with gravel, and placed a moisture-wicking tape over the system. The tape is super handy, as it keeps moisture from transferring to the concrete we floated over it in the next picture.
