Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing a Flooded Storm Shelter in Waynesburg, Kentucky
If you own a storm shelter, what use is it if it's not waterproofed? We waterproofed the prone to flooding space by installing our subfloor interior perimeter drainage system around the foundation. We then hooked up our SmartSump sump pump to help remove the water from the drainage system. Lastly, we wrapped the walls with our CleanSpace vapor barrier to make the room more enjoyable to store items in. If you want to see how we did it, then be sure to scroll through the photos below!

This is what the shelter looked like after all the water had been pumped out and before we installed our system.

The SuperSump is very capable of discharging massive volume water leaks at a high head.
