Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing and Insulation Panels for Home in Lebanon, KY
A homeowner was dealing with water seeping into their basement after heavy rains, with no sump pump installed to manage it. Planning to finish their unfinished basement of their 1920s home, they called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky for a solution. Our Certified Inspector, recommended the WaterGuard basement waterproofing system and a SuperSump sump pump. He also suggested Foamax basement wall insulation, which provides insulation, a vapor barrier, and a semi-finished look, all while directing leaks into the drainage system. To control humidity and air quality, he recommended a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, ensuring a dry, comfortable basement ready for finishing. The result was a dry basement with a new feel after we replaced their bare walls with our Foamax panels.
New Basement Feel
Here you can see how the WaterGuard and Foamax give the basement a new feel. The basement instantly feels warmer and looks cleaner. These panels can be left alone, as they look great by themselves, or you can put your own type of finished wall system over them.
New Waterproofing System
Our Foamax panels were tucked behind the wall flange on the subfloor drainage system to help drain wall leaks.
New Basement Sump Pump
Here you can see the guts of our subfloor drainage system and our newly installed sump pump. We would later cover all the back filled gravel and the drainage system with a fresh layer of concrete, as seen in the next photo.

This is after we conceal the subfloor drainage system with a fresh layer of concrete.
