We started the installation process by hooking up our negative air system to keep dust out of the rest of the home. We then trenched out the floor slab around the perimeter of the basement to make room for our subfloor drains.

The next step was to fit the trenches with our WaterGuard drainage system. We also backfilled the drains with limestone gravel and rolled a moisture wicking tape across the top of the drainage system. We also wrapped the walls with our BrightWall paneling system by this point.

We then concealed the drainage system with a fresh layer of concrete over the top of it. The moisture wicking tape from the previous photo will help prevent moisture transferring from the drainage system to the layer of concrete.
