Photo Album: Basement Waterproofing Contractor in Frankfort, Kentucky
The front side of this home in Frankfort, KY, was dealing with severe hydrostatic pressure. Water was building up in the soil outside the foundation and was pushing against the walls, causing them to bow inward and allowing water to seep inside. The grading of the property played a big role in the problem. The back of the basement was a walkout with no soil pressing against it, while the front side of the home was built into the hillside. This meant rainwater naturally drained downhill and collected against the front foundation wall, creating constant pressure.
To solve the problem, we installed our PowerBrace wall repair system to stabilize the bowing walls, along with a full waterproofing system that included subfloor drains, a sump pump, trench drains, and a CleanSpace vapor barrier. The homeowner can now rest easy knowing their foundation is secure and their basement is dry.
Bowed Wall Repair System
Our PowerBrace repair system is designed to prevent damage to your floor joists, unlike other systems. The PowerBrace system also may be able to make your walls straight again over time! We also installed our white CleanSpace vapor barrier over the wall to capture wall leaks from the front side of the home.
Sump Pump
Our Super Sump is able to discharge 2,280 gallons of water per hour at an eight food head.
Trench Drain for Water Utility
We like to throw our trench drain around water utilities so if it does leak, it'll be captured by our drainage system.

Problematic Home Grading
This garage door is on the backside of the basement. You can see how water may run down this hill and get trapped on the front side of the home.
