Before Encapsulating
This is what this crawl space looked like before the homeowner had the encapsulation system installed. The existing black vapor barrier seen in this photo was only 6 mils thick. Our white vapor barrier is 20 mils thick. The difference in thickness makes a very big difference, as it prevents ripping.
CleanSpace Encapsulation System
The CleanSpace is attached to the floors and walls of the crawl space to form a mold and vapor-proof barrier between the ground and the home.

The white vapor barrier helps reflect light.
Protected Crawl Space
The concrete piers are wrapped in CleanSpace Liner. You can also see the dehumidifier and sump pump in the back right corner of the picture.
Comfortable Crawl Space
The fiberglass insulation will stay fresh and dry thanks to the encapsulation system.
