The owner of this home in Winchester, KY, gave us a call because they knew something was wrong with their crawl space after they spent years dealing with their saggy floors. When we went out to inspect it, we noticed that moisture, settlement, and failing supports were all to blame. We implemented an encapsulation system to stop moisture, and we utilized our SmartJack post system to raise the floors back up. This photo was taken during installation. This hole shows how far down we dug to create the base of our SmartJack posts. We would later fill this hole in with gravel. This set up process helps prevent our steel posts from settling into the soil.
