This home in Frankfort, Kentucky was dealing with water seeping in around the perimeter of the basement, particularly near a chimney that extended off the foundation wall. To create a complete waterproofing solution, our crew installed a full interior drainage system with WaterGuard, carefully wrapping the system around the chimney base to capture water from every angle. The drainage line leads directly to a new TripleSafe sump pump, which provides dependable protection even during power outages or heavy rain. With the system concealed beneath a fresh layer of concrete, the basement is now dry, reliable, and ready for the long haul.
This home in Frankfort, Kentucky had a large crawl space—over 2,300 square feet—that was damp, musty, and showing early signs of mold growth. The homeowners wanted a long-term solution that would protect their home’s structure and improve indoor air quality. Our team began by cleaning and treating the space with Anabec mold cleanser before installing 2,345 square feet of CleanSpace vapor barrier to seal off the floor and walls from ground moisture. We also added 93 feet of perforated drainage tile to help direct any water toward a new SmartSump system, supported by a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier for full humidity control.
To improve insulation and energy efficiency, we installed SilverGlo wall panels and spray foam along the rim joists. Finally, five EverLast vent covers were added to fully seal the crawl space from outside air. The result is a dry, energy-efficient, and healthy crawl space that will protect the home above it for years to come.
