A homeowner in Morehead, Kentucky, was dealing with high humidity, water seepage, and cold, damp conditions in both the basement and an adjoining crawl space. They wanted a permanent solution to protect their home’s foundation and improve overall comfort.
We installed a full-perimeter WaterGuard® drainage system in the basement to collect water before it could reach the floor. That water is now pumped out reliably through a new SuperSump® system. To maintain healthy humidity levels, we added a SaniDry™ dehumidifier. We also finished the foundation walls with Foamax® insulation panels, providing a clean, moisture-resistant barrier that also boosts energy efficiency.
The home also had a partial crawl space, which we fully encapsulated using our CleanSpace® vapor barrier system and SilverGlo® insulation. This sealed off the earth and outside air while helping regulate temperature and humidity below the home.
Now, both the basement and crawl space are dry, clean, and fully protected — giving the homeowner a healthier, more efficient home from the ground up.
