A Louisville, Kentucky homeowner needed to have a new sump pump installed. They met with Paul, a Certified Inspector, who recommended a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System. The SuperSump includes a high end 1/3 cast iron pump. It can pump 2,650 gallons an hour. It includes the WaterWatch Alarm that will sound an alarm if the water reaches the point that the pump should have turned on. This will alert the homeowner to a problem before damage occurs. It also has the SuperLiner, a heavy-duty liner that will not cave in or crack. It also Includes the Airtight Lid that keeps moisture from evaporating back into the basement, keeps things from falling into the sump well, keeps out bugs and odors, quiets the pump and is so strong that you can stand on or store things on top of it.

Chris G. had only owned his home for two months when he noticed there was water seeping through cracks in the walls in his unfinished basement. He needed a solution to this problem so he called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky. Our certified inspector met with the homeowner and recommended a FlexiSpan wall crack repair system. FlexiSpan is a breakthrough, permanent crack repair system. One reason cracks form on walls is due to structural movement. If you repair the wall by injection only, chances are the wall will continue to move and the crack may reopen and leak again. Our crack repair system includes a first bead of sealant, followed by FlexiSpan foam drain strip, and a sealant overlay. The first bead of sealant is used to seal the crack, the FlexiSpan foam drain strip will catch any water that manages to seep past the first seal, the sealant overlay creates a sealed patch from top to bottom of the crack. This would be a great solution to his problems with the cracks in the walls of his basement.
A Louisville Kentucky homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky regarding a basement wall that was bowing in and had a crack that seeped water into the basement. We installed a PowerBrace System to Stabilize the wall and FlexiSpan Crack Repair System to repair the crack in the foundation. Now the wall is stabilized and the crack will no longer seep water into the basement.
A homeowner in Louisville, Kentucky was concerned that his crawl space area had a lot of moisture and high humidity. The crawl space had a dirt floor with a vapor barrier in places and the previous homeowner had a french drain system installed. He called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky to see what could be done about the humidity problems. He met with Jim, a certified inspector, who recommended that CleanSpace Drainage Matting, CleanSpace Vent Covers, SilverGlo Insulation, an EverLast Door and a SaniDry Sedona is installed. These products working together will help to seal out the moisture and the SaniDry Sedona will keep the humidity low.
A homeowner in Louisville was having problems with water in his crawl space. There was a vapor barrier installed but no way to get rid of water that was seeping in. We installed a SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System and CleanSpace Drainage Matting in the crawlspace. The CleanSpace Drainage matting will help the water drain into the SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System and then be pumped out of the crawl space.
A Louisville, Kentucky homeowner had problems with water seeping into the basement through cracks in the foundation and also had a leaky window. The homeowner met with Paul, a Certified Inspector, who recommended FlexiSpan Crack Repair System and an Egress Window is installed.
The FlexiSpan Crack Repair has three lines of defense against water seeping in through a crack. First a bead of sealant, then a FlexiSpan Foam Strip and a Sealant Overlay is installed. These three layers will prevent any water from seeping into the basement through this crack.
What is a SmartSump Crawl Space Drainage System? A SmartSump has a unique lid design so that water from a plumbing leak fills a special pocket on the lid and sounds an alarm. This is especially helpful because most homeowners do not go into the crawl space that often and may not realize there is a plumbing leak. The water will then drain into the Airtight Floor drain but the water cannot come back up into the crawl space. The alarm will alert the homeowner to a problem in the system and will also sound an alarm if there is a pump failure or a power failure. This gives the homeowner peace of mind that the crawl space is protected.
A homeowner in Louisville, Kentucky was having problems with water seeping into the basement so they called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky for a solution to this problem. The homeowner had the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System installed to intercept the water and pump it out of the basement. Also recommended for this basement is BrightWall Paneling System and a SaniDry Sedona. A certified inspector can help you choose the right products for your budget and your basement.
The BrightWall Panel is a 4x8 sheet of plastic paneling. BrightWall is made of plastic so it is perfect for the basement. It is easily cleaned, the bright white color brightens up the basement and reflects natural light, and it will drain any water that seeps through the walls down into the WaterGuard to be removed from the basement. BrightWall gives the basement a nice clean finish.
The SaniDry Sedona is used to dry and filter the air. A dehumidifier is used to remove water vapor from the air. This system also has special filters that will remove mold spores, dust mite droppings, and other particles from the air. The SaniDry will help the homeowner to have a healthier more comfortable home.
