This front porch was sunken into the ground by a couple inches, allowing dirt to wash up and other cosmetic issues. We sprayed PolyLevel foam under the concrete to raise the porch back up as well as seal it from rain.

PolyLevel work was needed on this front porch slab, which was sinking into the ground because it was on the same type of soil as the right side of the home, (which received piers.) PolyLevel requires small injection holes calculatedly spread across the porch to carefully lift the porch back to its original position. The PolyLevel foam is very durable and light, so it won't allow the porch to continue to sink after lifted.

The left side of this garage in Somerset, KY, was settling, causing cracks to appear in the foundation and the brick. We often see garages settle because they are often times on a different foundation from the rest of the home. We stabilized the foundation by installing a system of helical piers, which were underpinned underneath the foundation. These piers have a screw-like shape, which allow us to drill them deep into the earth without disturbing the soil. Once our pressure gauges read a certain PSI, we are able to confirm the piers have reached unmoveable dirt, allowing us to guarantee the foundation will never move again for as long as the structure lives. After we drilled the piers, we then attached them to brackets to latch them onto the footing of the home. After the brackets were connected, we then lifted the foundation back up using hydraulics to help close the gaps and cracks that appeared. After reaching a desirable level, we then covered the system by backfilling the hole with dirt. The result left the homeowner very happy, because they no longer have to worry about their garage sliding down the hill any longer, for the rest of time.
