WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump is used to resolve basement water problems in Lexington, KY

A homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky to find a solution to a problem with water that is seeping in along one wall of the basement.  The basement has a block foundation and there was no sump pump installed.  We installed the WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System and a SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System is installed to resolve these water problems for the homeowner.  WaterGuard will intercept the water that seeps into the basement and then the SuperSump Premier Sump Pump System will remove the water from the basement.  Call and schedule an appointment with a certified inspector to show you how this system works.

SmartJack Floor Supports to resolve sloping floors in Lexington, KY

A 50-year-old home in Lexington was having problems with sloping floors so they homeowner called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky to find a solution to this problem.  The homeowner met with Matt, a Certified Inspector, who recommended that SmartJack Floor Supports are installed to resolve this problem for the homeowner.

SmartJack Floor Supports are installed by compacting a structural stone into the ground under the area that needs the support.  A steel pier is cut to size and installed under the area that needs to be supported.  There is an adjustable "screw" that is tightened to jack up the floor to the correct position.

Encapsulation in Lexington, Kentucky

A home in Lexington, Kentucky that was built in 1960 had a dirt and gravel floor with no vapor barrier.  We installed a CleanSpace Encapsulation System that included a CleanSpace Liner, CleanSpace Drainage matting, SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation, and an EverLast Door.  CleanSpace Drainage Matting and CleanSpace Liner provide a vapor proof barrier between the ground and the home.  The SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation will reflect heat back into the crawl space and keep the floors warmer.  The EverLast Door will give the homeowner easy access into the crawl space and keep moisture and debris from entering the crawl space.  Keeping the crawl space dry will keep the mold and musty odors out of the crawl space and make the home more comfortable and healthier.

Water resolved in a basement with a brick foundation, in Lexington KY

A Lexington, Kentucky homeowner has a home with a brick foundation.  The homeowner was having problems with water seeping into the basement through the walls.  We installed a WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System, along with a SaniDry Sedona and a TripleSafe Sump Pump System.

WaterGuard is our patented piping system that is installed along the foundation walls between the floor and wall to intercept water that is seeping into the basement.  The water is then pumped out of the basement through a sump pump system, such as the TripleSafe Sump Pump System.

The TripleSafe Sump Pump System has three pumps.  Pump one is the primary pump and will do the majority of the pumping.  This pump is a 1/3 hp pump and is a reliable, efficient, smooth-running pump.  The second pump is a 1/2 hp pump and this pump will start up if either pump one would fail or if it is having trouble keeping up with heavy water flow, this second pump will start up to help pump one.  Pump three is the UltraSump Back-up Battery Pumping System.  This pump will turn on during times of power failure or pump failure and will run on battery power.  It comes with its own battery and charging station.

The SaniDry Sedona is a dehumidifier that filters and dries the air.  Too much moisture in the air causes musty odors and encourages mold growth.  Whatever is in the crawl space area of the home is also in the living area.  Having a SaniDry will keep the moisture low and the filter removes mold spores, dust mite droppings, and particulates from the air.

WaterGuard Waterproofing System will intercept the water seeping into the basement and the TripleSafe Sump Pump System will pump it out of the basement.  This will keep the basement dry and make the space usable for storage or extra living space without the worries of water intrusion.  The SaniDry will filter and dry the air.  This will keep the basement and the living area air dry and help to prevent mold and musty odors from forming making the home more comfortable and healthier place to live.

We installed an UltraSump Battery Back-up System in Lexington, Kentucky.  The UltraSump Battery Back-up system will automatically turn on during times of power failure of primary pump failure.  This gives the homeowner added protection against flooding and gives the homeowner time to resolve the problem before damage occurs.  The UltraSump is a great addition to your basement or crawl space giving you peace of mind that your home is protected against flooding.  Call The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky to see how this may be a great product for your home.

SuperSump and WaterGuard Solve Water Problems in Lexington, KY

Andrew, a homeowner in Lexington, was having problems with water seeping in between the wall and floor of his basement.  He called The Basement Doctor of Central Kentucky for a solution to this problem.  He met with Brice, one of our Certified Inspectors, who recommended a SuperSump pump and WaterGuard Basement Waterproofing System.

A SuperSump pump system includes the most reliable pump available and has a WaterWatch alarm and the patented SuperLiner with Airtight Lid.  The Airtight Lid helps keep the sump pump well neat and clean and nothing can fall into it.  WaterGuard is a piping system that intercepts water at the perimeter and drains it away.  WaterGuard, along with our other basement waterproofing products will give you the dry, comfortable basement you are looking for.
